It would be a nice feature to be able to even temporarily edit messages sent in private messages/conversations! For those annoying misspells, word omissions, or when your phone decides it's time to humble you by autocorrecting into the wrong word!! For emotes it would be nice to have access to all or more of the emotes that can be used in comments.

Resolved: Done: live since 5 Nov 2026.

Can I please turn my message inbox off? It states clearly on my profile that I don't want that kind of interaction and people still message me anyway, it's frustrating. It's certainly not Autism-friendly.

Resolved: Done: live since 5 Nov 2026.

DDG Admins - thanks for all the great new features! On the search bar, could we get a filter-by-model option? For instance: show only images created in ChatGPT 2, or SeeDream, or ImagineArt, etc.?

Resolved: Done: live since 5 Nov 2026.

I would like Admin to keep the Try style button, but make it usable only on our own images. I'm having lots of fun going back to past styles and recombining them or whatever, and it has opened up a whole lot of interesting effects. Obviously that can be gotten around, but I would still like to keep it for personal use. It is something that original creators can really work with and it's a lot of fun.

Resolved: Done: Edit profile → Try style → untick "Let members use Try style on my dreams". Only you can then use it on your dreams.

I get that the music generation tab is not your priority, but not even storing the prompt is weirdly lazy. I want to see and reuse prompts! A title would be nice too.

Resolved: Already there: the prompt shows as the song's title, and "Load settings" puts it back in the form.

It would be interesting to be able to change the order of the images in the "pinned dreams" section, according to how one would like them to be displayed.

Resolved: Live 4 Nov 2026: Reorder button on your own Pinned dreams, drag or arrows.

Would it be possible to add a "Search by Name" function to both the Followers and Following pages? At present, finding a particular member means scrolling through multiple pages, which can be quite time-consuming and frustrating. A search function would make it much quicker and easier to locate specific members.

Resolved: Live 4 Nov 2026: a search box on the Followers and Following pages.

Could challenge entries have an optional short title or description? It could help voters understand the creator’s interpretation of the theme and give voters more context and help them better understand how the image relates to the theme.

Resolved: Live 4 Nov 2026: optional caption (up to 100 characters) on challenge entries, shown to voters and in the results.

Unlike the standard "Try" feature—which the original creator can prevent by removing the prompt or the base image—there is currently no way to disable "Try Style." While the source-crediting system implemented by DDG is an improvement (or at least a stopgap measure), I am not at all in favor of "Try Style" in its current form. When an image is published, there should be a checkbox allowing the creator to opt out of this type of "Try" functionality. Some creators imbue their work with a distinct personality—a signature touch that is uniquely their own—so it seems only fair that they should be able to choose (via a checkbox) to protect the style of their images.

Resolved: Done 28 Oct: Edit profile has a switch to turn Try style off for your dreams.

I’d love to see a private notebook or memo feature where users can save ideas, prompts, modifiers, artwork, or simply write personal notes in one place, visible only to themselves. This would help us organize our creativity without needing an external app. Thank you!

Resolved: Already there: the Notes button beside the prompt box, and the star for saving dreams.

Improve things using visuals. Wouldn't it be interesting to add this function: writing → image → text modification → image... until you get the dream image?

Resolved: Already there: in the AI Image Editor, describe a change, then use Continue Editing for the next one.

I'd love a small way to recommend a dream I discovered while wandering through someone else's gallery — not my own work, not necessarily Trending, and not another competition. Just: "Hey, I found this beautiful little thing. Come look." Maybe each dreamer could recommend only one occasionally, with a short note about what caught their eye, and DDG could gather these into a rotating Hidden Gems corner. There are so many wonderful dreams quietly sitting beyond the first pages. Sometimes all they need is one person carrying a little lantern and saying, "Over here!"

Resolved: Live: Hidden Gems, one pick each, shuffled, no counts, with an opt-out in Edit Profile.

It would be especially handy with dreams created earlier, otherwise we have to scroll forever looking for them. And if we want to use several of them, (new models support up to 4 images simultaneously) it becomes impossible to locate them all from this button.

Resolved: Live: "Edit this image" in your dream's menu, and "Pick images to edit" on My Dreams (up to 4).

Besides Try Prompt, add something like Try Style or Remix the Look. Sometimes I don't want to recreate another member's scene at all — I just fall in love with the watercolor softness, the strange DaVinci texture, the lighting, the palette, or that mysterious painterly magic I can't describe. It would be fun if DDG could borrow only those visual ingredients and let us create a completely new subject and story from them. Same atmosphere, different dream. Same paintbox, different garden. I think that could make trying feel even more creative and educational, especially for those of us still learning how certain styles are prompted.

Resolved: Live: the "Try style" button on dream pages, with Nano Banana 2 and ChatGPT 2.

Yes I know thats why it needs to be written clearly - Members are not sure how it works now. The members are all getting different interpretations of the 5 inspiration points per member and how it affects trending. Please read all member comments in the Chat thank you.

Resolved: Answered: how Inspiration Points, Top AI Artists and Trending work since 15 October.

It was said by DDG that there would be an option to see who tried your dream. I can't find where to access it — does anyone know where to find it?

Resolved: Done: the lightbulb next to the likes on a dream page opens the Tried by list.

I know some dreamers feel uncomfortable when other people try their prompts, and I respect that. But I also think the Try feature is one of the things that makes DDG so much fun. Not every AI-art lover is fluent in prompt writing yet. Sometimes they simply see a beautiful dream and think, "Ooooh… what happens if I press this little button?" And suddenly they're experimenting, learning, changing things, and perhaps beginning to write prompts of their own. I never want trying a shared prompt to feel like sneaking into someone's garden at midnight to steal a rose. If a prompt is available to Try, I hope people can enjoy exploring it comfortably. A little credit or thank-you is always a lovely courtesy, of course. And if someone wants to use a prompt elsewhere, they can copy it to another generator anyway — so I'd rather DDG keep the Try feature open, friendly and fun.

Resolved: Try stays, and the new dream credits the one it came from automatically.

If full thumbnails are not in the cards, allow choosing area to crop. Maybe also an option to show full image with blurred background to fill empty space? Continuation of: https://deepdreamgenerator.com/feedback/27

Resolved: Done: choose which part of a dream its card shows with Adjust thumbnail, or show tall dreams whole in your gallery.

I'd like the 'edit' box in comments here or in private chat rooms to have an option for resizing. With a 5-row spacer it works well on a large screen, but it gets quite tedious to navigate. I have to change my mouse settings every time I log in. Help! Oh, yeah, I hate the touch screen option.

Resolved: Done: the chat's writing box and edit box can be made taller.

When searching for members to invite to a private group, people who share a name are hard to tell apart: the plain version of the name seems to appear before names with icons or numbers, and the list only shows about 10 matches. This can make it difficult to find the person I mean and may lead to inviting the wrong member. Could the search show more matches, or make it easier to distinguish people — for example by showing unique usernames or other identifying details?

Resolved: Done: search by @username, and up to 30 results.

Maybe DDG could add a small countdown, or some other indicator, to let us know that an image is still visible in Trending and how much time it has left. After 24 hours, the timestamp only shows “1 day ago,” and then the image quietly disappears without us realizing it. Something like “5h 30m remaining” would make it clear that the image is still trending and exactly how much time is left, if feasible.

Resolved: Done: dreams on the first page of Trending show their place, for example "#7 in Trending".
