Support for various aspect ratios

We now support all standard aspect ratios for image generation, including 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, and 9:16.

Introducing a New Video Generator – Powered by Cutting-Edge AI Technology!

Introducing a new video generator, designed to help you effortlessly produce high-quality, smooth, and coherent videos. Whether you're a content creator, marketer, or hobbyist, achieve professional-grade results in just a few clicks.

Due to the advanced capabilities of this new model, video generation requires more compute power, resulting in a higher cost of 90 energy points per 5-second video. However, for a limited time, we’re offering a special promotion: 5-seconds of high-quality video for 50 energy points! Also we expect the prices to drop in the future as the model gets more optimized.

The new generator is powered by the state-of-the-art RunwayML model, this tool takes your creativity to the next level.

Old video generators are still available

The "Morph Video" feature is located in the Morph tab in the Video Generator page, and the old animation option is still accessible under the Old Tools section.

Users pages layout back to original

We received feedback from users that the new layout for the Users pages was not as user-friendly as the previous one. We've listened to your feedback and reverted the layout back to the original design.

The main reason we introduced the new layout was to avoid cropping images, which had been a frequent request. However, if it's causing more issues than it solves, we're happy to return to the original layout.

For the Feed page, we’ll keep the new layout since it greatly improves loading speed—something that was a significant issue for users following many artists. We're also working on incorporating your feedback for the Feed page, such as adding a bigger like button and showing dream titles.

Albums: You can now add public dreams as well. (Text2Dream only for now)

We’ve heard your voices about wanting more artistic freedom, including requests to allow nude images. We’ve also received thoughtful feedback from both sides of the discussion, and we appreciate the passion and perspectives shared with us.

New Features

• Dream Views

  • In the new grid layout, we now display the number of views for each dream.

  • Important Note: We've been tracking views since April 2024, so older dreams may have fewer views or even less views than likes.

• Dream Albums

  • You can now create an album with up to 40 dreams directly from the dream page. Once created, use the download button to get all the images in a ZIP file.

• New Models:

  • DaVinci2: An improved version of the "DigitalDaVinci" model, now available to all AI artists on the DDG platform, not just subscribers. It costs only 4 points instead of 10.
  • ArtFusion: A powerful new model that produces high-quality, high-resolution images, including accurate spelling and text generation.
  • FluX: Based on the popular Flux model with added enhancements. This model creates stunning art, photorealistic images, and writes text well. It’s available in Base, Advanced, and Ultra modes. Combine it with the Visual Prompt and the new Enhance option for spectacular results. We highly recommend giving it a try!
  • Natural Mode for AIVision: A new experimental "Natural" checkbox option in the AI Vision model that aims to produce more natural and realistic images. More updates and improvements are expected, so give it a try and let us know your feedback.

• Enhance Option:

  • A new "Enhance" option automatically improves and upscales your images using various technologies, including the AI Upscaler and some components of the new models.

  Video generator has been updated:

• - Now generates video from up to 4 images or a text prompt.
• - Improved coherence and smoothness.
• - Videos are now rendered in Full HD.
• - Price per second of generated video reduced by 50%.
• - Default video length is 8 seconds, costing 40 energy points (previously 80 points for the same length).

  Animation optoin moved:

• - To simplify the video generator page, we've removed the button to the Animation feature. But you can still access it on this page: Animation
• - We'll be adding a more streamlined option to access and use this feature soon. We're also working on exciting updates to make the technology more coherent and to allow for longer video generation.

New Features

  Video Editor:

• - We've introduced a simple video editor that lets you combine smaller generated videos into a larger one. This is just the beginning. We're working on adding options for artists to generate and attach music to their videos, as well as other basic editing features like color grading, cutting/trimming, and transitions.

We are excited to introduce the AI Upscaler, a powerful new tool in our collection. This creative upscaler can boost the resolution of your AI creations up to 120MP (e.g., 12000px by 10000px) and significantly enhance their quality. Text 2 Pattern [New feature]

The Text 2 Pattern tool makes it easy to add patterns to images created from text prompts.

Visual Prompt [New feature]

It allows you to upload an image instead of writing a text prompt. The image is then transformed into a detailed digital prompt, capturing the essence of your original concept. This enables you to receive results that closely reflect the concept of your original image or improve upon it by incorporating particular details.

Small Design and Layout Updates

•   We've expanded the main layout for a wider view.

•   The main listings, like 'Trending' and 'Latest,' now feature larger images.

Updates

•   A search button () now appears alongside the "Try it" button on each dream. This shortcut provides quick access to our powerful search tool, enabling users to easily find dreams similar to the one they have just viewed. That feature is not supported for dreams with a base image.
•   We've introduced a new section, featuring the latest videos.

Fix (14-Jan-2024):

The recent update, which unintentionally prevented users from downloading their own images, was a bug and not a deliberate feature. This issue should now be resolved, allowing everyone to download their own images.

Updates

•   Recently, there has been an issue with fake accounts taking DDG users' images and posting them on social media. To address this, we are now blocking the ability to download images from other users. Remember, you can use the AI Editor >> Image Editor to add your initials to your images for extra protection.
•   Video Pricing: Following initial tests and statistical analysis of the video generation feature, we've successfully reduced its cost. The price for video generation has been decreased by 50%!
•   Video: You now have the option to select the duration for the Head prompt.
•   Inpainting Update: We've resolved problems related to incorrectly resized images created by the AIVision model and introduced a new feature that detects when the system fails to modify an image, automatically restoring the used energy points. Additionally, we've implemented several other bug fixes.

Version 3.1 (Q1/2024)

Video Generation ^BETA

We're excited to introduce Text2Video, a tool that creates short videos from text, currently available exclusively to our monthly subscribers. It's still in beta, so please be careful when using it. This early version is just the beginning; expect changes and improvements in future releases, including new features and options. We aim to enhance the quality, smoothness, and prompt interpretation in future versions. Additionally, we'll introduce Image2Video and Video2Video capabilities.

Version 3.0 (Q4/2023)

Notable changes

•   To improve image generation speed, images will not automatically save to 'My Dreams'. After an image is generated, you'll have the option to 'Try Again' or 'Save' it to your dreams. This accelerates the process and allows you to save only the images you find satisfactory. Images not saved as dreams will appear in unsaved-images and remain available for two weeks before being automatically deleted. You can choose to save them as dreams anytime within this period.
•   The 'Upscale & Enhance' feature is now part of the AI Editor, and we've reduced the cost for using this feature.
•   We've decreased the price for default image generation from 5 to 4 energy points.
•   We've decreased the price for the High-Quality option from 15 to 10 points.

• - We've redesigned our header for a sleeker appearance and to accommodate upcoming new features.

1. The trending algorithm now includes Dream inspirations. It uses this formula: 1.26 * Freshness + 1.00 * Likes + 0.30 * Inspirations.

• - All variables are normalize to be between 0-1
• - Freshness is calculated based on how new the Dream is
• - Inspirations (counted for each dream for the last 12 hours)
• - Dreams published in the last 30 hours are considered which have more than 14 likes

2. Performance boost: We've enhanced our system to ensure a quicker loading time for numerous pages.

We are excited to announce several changes to the inspirations system in this release:

• - The original creator of a prompt will now be awarded an inspiration point.
• - Each dream now has a counter for inspiration points.
• - The list of Dreamers now depends on inspirations within the last 30 days.

We are excited to announce several enhancements to the notification system in this release:

• - Notifications in the dropdown menu are now grouped by dream and type for better organization.
• - Grouped notifications now have a modal for reviewing other notifications within the group.
• - The Notifications page now includes filters to easily sort through ungrouped notifications.
• - Notifications will be stored for 60 days instead of 30 days for longer access to past notifications.

Version 2.9 (Q2/2023)

• - Earn Inspiration Points: Every time someone gets inspired by one of your dreams and creates their own version using the "Try" button, you earn 1 Inspiration Point. These points serve as a tribute to your creative prowess, rewarding your ingenuity and inspiring others in our community.


• - Inspiration Buffer and Energy Battery: As you accumulate Inspiration Points, they are stored in your Inspiration Buffer. Once your Inspiration Buffer reaches a capacity of 50 Inspiration Points, you'll unlock a valuable Energy Battery worth 100 Energy Points. This serves as a special reward for your boundless creativity, allowing you to continue generating dreams and inspiring a larger audience.


• - Claiming and Using Energy Batteries: You have the freedom to claim your Energy Battery whenever you desire. Simply click on the Energy Battery to claim it. Once claimed, the Energy Battery will be converted into 100 Energy Points and added to your account. These Energy Points enable you to further fuel your artistic vision and create more dreams.

Version 2.7 (Q1/2023)

• - Revised design for Trending, Latest, and Best categories.
• - The default configuration has been updated to landscape mode and the "Artistic" AI model.
• - No more cropping of images in those lists. They will now be shown in their full dimensions and with enhanced quality.
• - Display the name of the AI model. You can click on it to view a list of all creations made using that model.
• - The full-screen mode now displays fewer controls to provide an unobstructed view of the entire image.
• - For evolved dreams it will show initial image only if one was used in the first step. If the evolutoin started from pure text no init image will be dsiplayed.
• - The "HQ" badge, which indicates high quality, can be clicked to display a list of all high-quality creations in the specified list.

1. Deep Style v2

• - Default resolution is now 0.6MP, which should be just a bit slower than the old 0.36MP

  • It is a simple messaging/chat system where Dreamers can exchage messages.
  • Find the "Message" button at the top/right side of the profile page, left from the "Follow" button.
  • If you receive any spam messages you can block the chat from the "Settings" button (it's on the top/right corner of the chat).

  • Small but very important update. It allows users to create a Dream as private and make it public later. System will update it's publishing time and it will show in Latest section.

• New following system:
  • Now you can follow other Dreamers and their latest Dreams will appear in the Feed section.
  • You can bookmark up to 8 Dreamers from those you follow. You will get all the updates from them.
