Prompt: Behold, the Book of Revelations, Chapter 7,
A tale of redemption, a heavenly haven,
A vision of hope, amidst trials and woes,
Of God's faithful, in multitudes it shows.
John, the prophet, sees a great multitude,
No one could count, from every latitude,
Clothed in white, with palm branches in hand,
Worshipping God, in a joyous band.
Sealed with His mark, on their foreheads bright,
Protected and chosen, in His loving sight,
From every tribe, language, and nation,
A diverse assembly, in adoration.
They've come through great tribulation,
Washed in the Lamb's blood, a glorious salvation,
They cry out with praises, to the Lamb on the throne,
Their Shepherd, their Savior, their very own.
No more hunger, thirst, or scorching heat,
God Himself, their tears will gently beat,
He'll wipe away all sorrows from their eyes,
In His presence, eternal joy will arise.
Angels and elders, join in the praise,
Of the redeemed, in heavenly gaze,
Salvation belongs to our God and the Lamb,
Forever and ever, the eternal I AM.
Prompt: Apocalypse Unveiled - Revelation Chapter One
Behold the words of prophecy, divine,
Unveiling mysteries of the end of time,
In Patmos' isle, John, the seer,
A vision of grandeur did appear.
The sky ablaze with glory's light,
A sight that filled him with awe and fright,
A voice like thunder, a trumpet's call,
A vision majestic, surpassing all.
In robes of white, the Son of Man,
His eyes like fire, a master plan,
Seven stars, seven lampstands bright,
Symbolizing churches, in His sight.
The Alpha, Omega, the First, the Last,
The Living One, the die He cast,
Exiled on the isle, John did see,
The unveiling of eternity.
His pen did capture, with trembling hand,
The vision's essence, the truth so grand,
To the seven churches, a warning sent,
A call to repent, to be fervent.
Apocalyptic visions, unveiled to view,
A revelation of the things anew,
A glimpse of heaven, a glimpse of hell,
A prophecy foretelling, the final bell.
The Book of Revelations, Chapter One,
A prelude to mysteries, yet to be done,
A poetic saga, of visions bright,
Prompt: Behold, a mighty angel descended from above,
Clothed in clouds, with a radiant love,
A rainbow halo, a face shining bright,
A voice like thunder, a celestial sight.
In hand, a little scroll, a mystery profound,
Sealed with seven seals, waiting to be unbound,
Proclaiming the end, the final revelation,
Foretelling of judgment, a divine declaration.
With one foot on sea and one on land,
The angel declared, his voice to command,
A time no more, the seventh trumpet near,
The mysteries of God, now made clear.
John, the prophet, was given the task,
To eat the scroll, to partake and unmask,
Its bitter taste, a solemn warning,
Of coming tribulations, a world in mourning.
The sweet aftertaste, a promise of grace,
To those who endure, in faith embrace,
The words of prophecy, a guiding light,
In darkness and chaos, a beacon bright.
The little scroll, now consumed and digested,
Reveals God's plan, fully manifested,
A message of hope, a warning dire,
To heed the call, to lift our hearts higher.
So let us listen, with open ears,
To the truths unveiled, dispelling fears,
For in Revelations Chapter 10, we find,
God's wisdom and love, eternally entwined.
Prompt: A wondrous sight, appeared in the sky,
A woman adorned with the sun's bright dye,
Clothed with the moon, beneath her feet,
A crown of stars, a vision complete.
She was with child, about to give birth,
To the promised one, the hope of earth,
But a dragon red, with a venomous snare,
Waited to devour, with evil's glare.
The dragon, with its tail, swept a third of the stars,
To earth it fell, with darkened scars,
Seeking to devour the child with might,
But the child was caught up, in God's saving light.
The woman fled, to a place prepared,
By God's own hand, she was safely ensnared,
For time, and times, and half a time,
She was hidden from the dragon's crime.
A war in heaven, then did arise,
Michael and his angels, in battle guise,
Fighting the dragon, the ancient foe,
But it was defeated, cast down below.
The dragon, in rage, pursued the rest,
The offspring of the woman, he sought to infest,
Those who hold to God's testimony,
And follow His ways, with faithful glory.
But the woman was given wings of a dove,
To soar to safety, on wings of love,
Prompt: A fearsome beast rose from the sea,
With seven heads and ten horns, an eerie decree,
Blasphemous names adorned its frame,
And power and authority, it boldly claimed.
The beast was like a leopard, swift and sly,
Its feet like a bear, ready to pry,
Its mouth like a lion, roaring loud,
Exuding power, drawing a crowd.
The world marveled, in awe and dread,
And followed the beast, with hearts misled,
They worshiped it, in awe-struck awe,
Admiring its power, with trembling jaw.
The beast was given, by the dragon's might,
Authority to rule, with great fright,
For forty-two months, it held sway,
Enforcing its mark, in a dire display.
A mark upon the hand, or on the head,
A number, the mark of the beast, widespread,
No one could buy, or sell, or trade,
Without the mark, a choice to be made.
But those who refused, to bow and kneel,
Were persecuted, with wounds to heal,
They held on to faith, unwavering strong,
Enduring tribulation, amid the throng.
Another beast, with lamb-like guise,
Exercised authority, with cunning eyes,
Prompt: The time had come, the final phase,
God's wrath poured out, in fearful blaze,
Seven bowls, filled with plagues dire,
Bringing judgment, with unquenchable fire.
The first bowl poured, upon the earth,
A grievous sore, of painful birth,
Afflicting those who worshiped the beast,
A painful reminder, of their idolatrous feast.
The second bowl, upon the sea,
Turned it to blood, as far as the eye could see,
All creatures died, in the crimson tide,
A devastating blow, to the waters wide.
The third bowl poured, upon the rivers and springs,
Turned them to blood, with toxic stings,
A just retribution, for shedding blood,
God's righteous judgment, a divine flood.
The fourth bowl poured, upon the sun,
Scorching with fire, as God's will was done,
Intense heat, with searing pain,
A consequence, for rebellion's stain.
The fifth bowl poured, upon the throne of the beast,
Plunging it into darkness, the utmost feast,
A kingdom in chaos, a reign in strife,
God's judgment, cutting off the false life.
The sixth bowl poured, upon the Euphrates river,
Prompt: The King of Kings, in glorious might,
Descended from heaven, a majestic sight,
On a white horse, with eyes of flame,
His name is Faithful, and True is His name.
The armies of heaven, clothed in white,
Followed the King, with heavenly light,
In righteousness and justice, He came to fight,
To conquer evil, with His holy might.
His robe dipped in blood, His name written,
King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, a title fitting,
He struck down the nations, with a sharp sword,
Ruling with authority, as the promised Lord.
The beast and false prophet, were cast in fire,
The enemies of God, met their dire,
Their fate sealed, in eternal doom,
Conquered by the King, in victor's room.
The birds of the air, invited to feast,
On the flesh of kings, the mighty and least,
God's judgment, righteous and true,
A warning to all, to stay faithful and true.
The great multitude, with voices raised,
Praising God's name, in awe amazed,
Salvation, glory, and honor be,
To the King of Kings, eternally.
