Meanwhile, Flint Beastwood and Notos bring the books and scrolls to the library of the School of Earth Magic, where they will be kept in the section restricted to only the most trustworthy of Mages. They are aided by the smith they rescued, who is full of gratitude towards those who freed him of the infamous influences of the Archmage and Lord Laverno. He wants nothing more than to help capture these villains, so that no one will ever experience what he has lived through.
Notos is delighted at finally being in a place where he hopes to find like-minded people. His thirst for knowledge has been rekindled by his acquaintance with Flint Beastwood who has become a wise and knowledgeable mentor to him. He has already decided that he will devote his life to fighting evil and helping orphans, so that they won't find themselves in the clutches of evil actors who would use them for their own ends.
