Joan Dark is a nomme du guerre for Maria Christina Delacroix, head of Diamond Security, protectors of the Delacroix Line and its interests at home and abroad. She was born in mysterious circumstances - allegedly, she was discovered in a Caracas orphanage by Venezuelan diviners, with a birth certificate in the name of Maria Christina Rojas.
