ArtistA beautiful purple-haired woman wearing a long purple velvet ankle-length dress with flouncy sleeves and purple suede high heels. She is editing a spreadsheet on a large computer screen.
In the ::SHE+ILA:: development agenda is "::SHE+ILA::CALC", a user Buf viewer/editor/coder which presents a spreadsheet-like UI to those familiar with Visicalc, 123, Aseasyas, Framework, Excel, Lisacalc, and Appleworks. Each cell in the X,Y,Z grid control references an element of a ::SHE+ILA:: buffer, and can be set to a data item (e.g. numeric or string value) or a lambda (a user-defined function which may reference any other spreadsheet cell). Tabs along the bottom allow selection of which "workbook" you require, and form the Z coordinate of the X,Y,Z addressing scheme. The user interface (UI) may be customised by the user, as the UI consists of unlocked and listable functions and macros. As ::SHE+ILA:: is an automatically persistent virtual storage environment, all user spreadsheets are automatically and continually checkpointed (saved to disk), and may be "instantiated" or "derived" in an object-oriented manner.
