The AI behind Deep Dream Generator sometimes seems to work like an oracle - and sometimes, it does things that send chills down my spine. Here's an example of what I mean.

When I used the iconic drawing of Mothman as a Visual Prompt, I got back an image of a single eye similar to the eyes of the creature in the sketch, but with an important difference : this eye has red lines radiating within it. Is it radiating energy ? Anger ? The eye seems to be saying, "You want to see a picture of me? Make a picture of me? When you think of me, I *see* you." This makes sense : if ultra-terrestrials are ultimately creatures of consciousness, then thinking of UTs might well alert them to the consciousness of the person doing the thinking - it might even be like yelling out their name on the physical plane.

That's disconcerting, but what's really disturbing to me is this : if they can sense our consciousness, can they also affect it in some way or other ? Is this why some people are driven mad by an obsession with the supernatural, with cryptids and/or UFOs ?

Maybe, maybe not. In the end, though, it doesn't matter - either way, people can't let fear keep them from thinking about what they will. Paranoia will drive a person insane more quickly and more forcefully than any UT ever could.
