The Staff of the Desert Mage is said to have been crafted from the wood of a rare desert acacia. This wood is exceptionally hard and durable, which is why it was used for special tools even in ancient times. Mysterious symbols, reminiscent of ancient hieroglyphs, were carved into the wood of the staff. The most famous bearer of the staff was a scholar named Azram. He lived in a time when great caravans traveled through desert cities, bringing together knowledge from many cultures. Azram was less a magician than a seeker. His goal was to uncover the secrets of ancient temples and lost libraries. The staff is said to have helped him navigate the seemingly endless desert. Some stories claim that he could sense the wind and knew when a sandstorm was approaching. Others say that the staff glowed faintly on starry nights, leading Azram to hidden ruins. When Azram failed to return from a journey one day, the staff disappeared. Some believe he still lies somewhere beneath the sands of the ancient deserts.
