Part of my series "YBC : Young Barnabas Collins...Maybe." I imagine that these images show Barnabas Collins BEFORE he became a vampire. After all, Jonathan Frid was in his mid-forties and looked it when he got the role, whereas most of the images in this series show men in their twenties or thirties. This particular subject could easily be in his early 20s.

In fact, I'm thinking about writing a short story inspired by DARK SHADOWS and the images in this series. What was young Barnabas doing before being turned into a vampire ? There's very little mentioned in the series as I remember it. He presents himself as Angelique's victim, doing nothing to earn her insane lust for revenge, but that sounds suspicious to me...
