An upside down bedroom, Surreal composition, with a four poster bed on the ceiling, a hammock hangs between the front two posts within the dangling canopy, picrures are all upside down; next to the bed is an upside down window with its curtains draping onto the floor, and between the two hangs a birdcage, the only thing in the right place
I've looked at life from both sides now
From up and down and still somehow
It's life's illusions I recall
I really don't know life at all
Joni Mitchell, Both Sides Now, 1967. Released on her Clouds album.

This week's thematic challenge from DDG is an upside down house. I have had fun with the idea of upside down: of surreal displacement of realities, of a city that has to grow downward because of sea level rise, and of two sided perspectives... (This is why I enjoy challenges.)
