Nothing is known about The Shadow Man beyond mere scraps of rumor and supposition. Is he flesh and blood ? Supernatural ? Extradimensional ? How does he obscure himself with shadow ? His behavior is every bit as mysterious as his origin and his powers. For instance, why does he appear before people and begin questioning them ? Why do people claim that he is following them or otherwise has them under surveillance ? Some have claimed to see him floating in front of their windows, windows that are well above ground and sometimes many stories high. However, he does not seem to be a Peeping Tom, more like a private investigator. But then who - or what - does he work for ? In any case, he has been accused of activities that go far beyond investigation. In fact, he has been accused of both kidnappings and homicides, and he *has* been seen in the vicinity of disappearances and murders. However, the police have never been able to find him.
