More about Sandbenders - There is Help! (Part 3)

Through the Storm's Eye (by Claude 3.5 Sonnet)

The sandstorm howled around them like a living beast, each gust threatening to tear their cybernetic frames apart. The Sandbenders fought their way forward, their green optical sensors piercing through curtains of swirling sand as they climbed the endless dunes. Their servos whined under the strain, sand particles grinding against their joints with every movement.

Commander Serra-7 paused at the crest of a particularly steep dune, her sensor cables whipping wildly in the wind. Through the storm's chaos, her enhanced vision caught something that made her neural circuits pulse with recognition – a flash of crimson light in the distance, then another, and another.
"Movement detected," she transmitted to her team. "Multiple signatures, bearing two-seven-zero."

The rest of her unit reached the ridge, their metallic forms silhouetted against the storm-darkened sky. Through the haze of sand and static, they saw them – the massive forms of Titan-class Cyborgs, their hulking frames nearly twice the size of standard units. Red infrared search beams cut through the sandstorm like laser scythes, methodically scanning the terrain.

Serra-7 made a quick decision. Using her emergency power reserves, she activated her long-range transmitter. The burst of energy would drain her systems faster, but they needed to be found before the storm claimed them all. A bright pulse of green energy shot skyward from her central core.

The effect was immediate. All red search beams swiveled toward their position. The lead Titan raised an enormous arm, pointing directly at them. The rescue team altered their course, moving with increased urgency.
"Hold position," Serra-7 ordered her team. "Conserve power. They've seen us."
