Tucky is one of The Little People, having been born with dwarfism, although the cause was never diagnosed ; surviving a city's mean streets kept medical care out of reach of his family. However, it is his wig and forehead prosthesis that give him his distinctive appearance, for he is extremely fit and healthy. In fact, he is a skilled circus performer and acrobat, and his talent for physical comedy is pure genius. Over the course of his long career, he has entertained rubes and royalty - but he himself was no rube, and he'd seen too many stars cast aside when their reflexes failed, penniless for being paid peanuts, and he swore he'd be as ruthless as those mean streets had taught him to be, to keep himself from such a fate. Right after WW1, he bought a small circus and turned it into a gold mine.
