Artist statement

I suppose I view AI in the same way I think of 'filters' in Photoshop etc, that they are a valuable tool that ideally should (at least in my own work) be utilised but not relied upon entirely or used in isolation. I feel like AI generative art gets a bad rap because it's this kind of unregulated wild west, and so there's understandably a huge backlash, but it's still a fascinating and useful thing to explore and utilise, so I'm currently embracing it and having fun seeing how it might fit into my process.
