This is the old photographic still-life I based these Dreams on a while back, but animated through Runway this time:

The little critters cawling around aren't exactly the bees, wasps, and flies I had in mind, but they're certainly unpleasant and unsettling.

As I said when describing those other Dreams based on this photo; I've been digging through my old artwork and photos to find inspiration and found the base image for this Dream, a photograph I took about a decade ago, a still life in the style of the Old Masters.

Of course this version is much faithful to my original photograph, being a Runway video. So the classic memento mori elements are retrained; the reminders of death and decay that often balance the opulence and life giving bounty in this style of art. Things like the (fake) skull with a candle stub mounted on it, and a wasp on the fruit.
