I've been trying to animate this image with AI for a while, and finally success! I guess that's magic for you, eh?

Based on an illustration I did years ago, a sort of modern mage, in the 'tradition' of characters such as Harry Dresden I guess. I'd had this idea that he'd have these glasses with the lenses taped over using paper masking tape or something, like a make-shift blindfold (kind of silly when you think how many easier options there are, but at the time I thought it a cool idea) which would enable him to better focus some kind of second sight or the like. Here I had him using magic to quickly absorb the knowledge in a book, which I imaged would have a price you'd pay for later, you'd soon have to sleep for a week maybe, or have a splitting headache. For some reason the name Gilbert Mallard came to me, and a name like that is going to give a guy a bit of a chip on his shoulder.
