More about Tahiti

An oil painting depicting a tropical landscape scene, featuring several indigenous people in a lush, green environment. A woman with dark hair stands in the center of the path, wearing a blue floral pareo and carrying a woven basket on her head. Two women sit on the grass to her right outside a thatched-roof hut, wearing floral pareos and conversing, while a small brown dog walks towards them on the path. In the background, dark green, rugged mountains rise sharply against a cloudy sunset sky with hues of pink, yellow, and blue. The calm blue sea stretches across the left, with wooden canoes resting on the sandy shore. Lush vegetation, including palm trees, papaya trees, and various tropical plants, frames the foreground and middle ground, with vibrant green and earthy tones dominating the palette. The signature "Gauguin" is visible in the bottom right corner.
