ArtistTahitian landscape
A post-impressionistic oil painting depicting two Tahitian women seated in the foreground on a red ground, one wearing a blue dress with white floral motifs and white flowers in her hair, looking down at a green leaf she is holding, and the other wearing a white dress, sitting with her back against a tree trunk and looking towards the right side of the painting. In the background, there is a golden-yellow field, several other women standing or sitting near a path, and distant blue-purple mountains under a yellow sky.
