Psalm 25:4-5 (NIV) - "Show me your ways, Lord, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long."
Every morning we often see students preparing for school. Just as a student seeks education, we should humbly strive to be students of God's ways and heart. In Psalm 25:4-5, David's heartfelt prayer embodies this desire to know and walk in the Lord's guidance and truth. As we navigate through life, let our hearts be open to learning from God, seeking His wisdom, and aligning our lives with His divine purposes.
To be students of God's ways and heart, we must prioritize spending time in His presence and engaging with His Word. Just as students diligently study textbooks and listen to their teachers, we need to immerse ourselves in Scripture and attentively listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit. Through the study of God's Word, we gain insights into His character and desires for our lives.
Being a student of God requires a humble heart and a willingness to surrender. We must acknowledge that our understanding is limited and that we need His guidance. In the place of humility, God molds and transforms us, shaping us into vessels that reflect His image. As we daily seek Him, He will faithfully teach us His ways, enabling us to walk in righteousness and truth.
