Psalm 91:1-2 (NIV) - "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'"

The psalmist describes God as our shelter and fortress, offering us safety and peace in the midst of life's storms. Instead of relying on our own strength or temporary shelters, God invites us to trust Him completely.

Trusting God means giving Him our fears, worries, and doubts. It means admitting that we can't do it all on our own. Even in the midst of storms, God is with us, guiding us and protecting us. He gives us peace that goes beyond what we can understand.

Taking refuge in God doesn't mean the storms will go away, but it means we can face them with confidence. God promises to be there for us, to help us through the difficult times. He is faithful and loving, and we can find comfort in His presence.

So, when life gets tough, remember that God is your shelter. Seek Him and His Word. Trust in His promises. Find peace and strength by resting in His care. He will never leave you, even in the midst of the storm.
