Renaissance Madonna and Child Throne

More about Renaissance Madonna and Child Throne

A Renaissance-style oil painting depicts a Madonna and Child enthroned, flanked by four figures in traditional medieval or Renaissance attire. The central figure is the Madonna, a woman with fair skin, dark hair under a white head covering, and a serene expression. Seated on her lap is the Christ Child, a young child with light-brown hair and a thoughtful look, holding a small object in his hands.

The Madonna and Child are seated on an elaborate wooden throne with carved details and a reddish-brown backrest. The background consists of dark panels flanking the throne, with hints of a green wall visible behind the sides of the throne.

To the right, another figure stands, a young woman with her hair pulled back, wearing a black hooded robe over a white undergarment,

Note: I usually make a second version of an image using the AI Upscaaler part of the Google Deep Dream Generator because it is very good at enlarging images but also because it will, if used properly, add all sorts of surface qualities to the pictures. You will see what I mean if you compare this picture to the previous one. In this case it is a great improvement. In the case of the delSarto picture I much prefer the one with the soft surfaces and is really a nicely modern version. I will post the other one so you can decide for yourself if you care to.
