As we look up to the sky, we often see birds soaring high above us. One of the most majestic birds that we can see is the eagle. The eagle is known for its strength and its ability to fly higher than any other bird. However, even the eagle needs to be renewed. Just like us, the eagle can become tired and worn out. But in Isaiah 40:31, we are reminded that those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.

In the same way, the eagle can be renewed through the process of molting. This is when the eagle sheds its old feathers and grows new ones. During this process, the eagle is vulnerable and exposed, but it is necessary for the eagle to continue to fly and soar.

As Christians, we too need to be renewed. We need to shed our old ways and put on a new self, one that is focused on God and His will for our lives. We may feel vulnerable and exposed during this process, but it is necessary for us to continue to grow and mature in our faith.

Just like the eagle, we can wait on the Lord to renew our strength. We can trust in Him to guide us through the process of renewal and to give us the strength to soar to new heights. Let us take comfort in Isaiah 40:31, knowing that as we wait on the Lord, He will renew our strength and help us to fly higher than we ever thought possible.
