More about Drumming Dream

As Christians, we are called to use our talents and gifts to honor and praise Jesus. For some of us, that talent may be drumming. However, no matter who we are, if we want to excel in our drumming skills and use them to glorify God, we must put in the effort to practice.

Just as it takes time and dedication to master any skill, it takes the same effort to become a skilled drummer. We must be willing to put in the hours of practice, the sweat, and the tears to develop our talent. It may not come easy, but with determination and hard work, we can become the best drummers we can be.

In 1 Corinthians 9:24-25, Paul writes, "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever."

Just as athletes train hard to receive a crown that will not last, we too must train hard to use our drumming skills to honor God, who offers us a crown that lasts forever. By putting in the effort to practice, we not only develop our talent, but we also grow in our relationship with Christ. Our skills can be used to lead worship, bring joy to others, and ultimately bring glory to God.

So let us commit to practicing our drumming skills with diligence and dedication. Let us strive to use our talents to honor and praise Jesus, who has given us all the gifts we possess. And let us remember that with God's help, we can achieve anything we set our minds to.
