ArtistA mosaic made entirely of small pieces of stone, in the style of Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt, in brilliant high-contrast glassy colors, of two accurate male Blood Pheasants (Ithaginis cruentus), fully fitting inside the image, perched on a snow-covered boulder overlooking a landscape of high snowy mountains behind, and clouds lit by red sunset light. The blood pheasant has a short, convex black bill, feathered between bill and eye, with a crimson face and chin, and a small ash crest. The color of the plumage above is dark ash-gray, with broad strokes of white through the length of each major feather, the feathers of the chin are deep crimson; on the breast, belly, and sides, feathers are lance-shaped, the tips ash with crimson margins. The tail is short and has a similar pattern to the body.
