1 Timothy 6:18 says, "They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share." This verse is a reminder to us as Christians that we are called to live a life of service and generosity towards others.

As followers of Christ, we are called to do good and to be rich in good works. This means that we should be actively seeking opportunities to serve and bless those around us. Whether it's volunteering at a local charity, helping a neighbor in need, or simply offering a listening ear to someone who is going through a difficult time, we can all find ways to do good and make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Furthermore, we are called to be generous and ready to share with others. This includes not only our material possessions, but also our time, talents, and resources. When we are generous and giving towards others, we reflect the heart of Christ and show His love to those around us.

It's important to note that being generous and ready to share doesn't mean that we give only when it's convenient or easy for us. Rather, it requires a sacrificial attitude and a willingness to put the needs of others before our own. As we do so, we will experience the joy and fulfillment that comes from serving and blessing others.

Let us pray that God would give us a heart for service and a desire to be generous and ready to share with others. May we be faithful stewards of all that God has given us, and may we always be looking for ways to do good and make a positive impact in the lives of those around us.
