As believers, we know that life is not always smooth sailing. There are times when we face trials, tribulations, and storms that threaten to overwhelm us. In these moments, it can be tempting to focus on our problems and to let fear, doubt, and worry consume us. But as followers of Christ, we have access to a supernatural source of strength, joy, and peace that can sustain us even in the midst of the storm. That source is Jesus Christ.
When we praise Jesus, we connect ourselves to His supernatural power and joy. Praising Him is not just a matter of saying nice things about Him; it is an act of faith that acknowledges His goodness, His power, and His sovereignty over all things. When we praise Jesus in the midst of our storms, we are declaring our trust in Him and our confidence that He is able to see us through.
The Bible tells us that God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). When we lift up our voices in praise and worship, we invite the presence of God into our lives. And where God's presence is, there is power, joy, and peace. When we praise Jesus, we tap into His supernatural strength and grace, and we are able to face our storms with courage and faith.
So let us praise Jesus even in the storm. Let us declare His goodness, His power, and His love in the face of adversity. Let us connect ourselves to His supernatural strength and joy, and trust that He will see us through. As we do, we will find that our storms are no match for the power of our Savior, and that in Him we have everything we need to overcome.
