The Adventures of Arthur & the Teddy Bear: Where Are We? #11
Dazed, Arthur and Teddy Bear stood silently in the middle of the field. They thought there was a station on the other side. In fact, there was no station there. There was nothing there at all. Just a field. A field of flowers. But it was not just a field, it was a meadow in the middle of the mountains. So they were just standing there in a wide alpine meadow covered with beautiful flowers. And they could not understand where this train had taken them.
"Teddy Bear, did you see any people in the wagons?" Arthur asked.
"No," replied Teddy Bear.
"And I didn't see anyone there either. Maybe it was just my impression?"
"But no one else got off the train except us. At this... station?" said Teddy Bear uncertainly. After all, this place did not resemble it at all.
"It's very strange. This train came out of nowhere, right in the middle of a dense forest. And there was no one else there but us. I mean, it looks like that train was waiting there for us. There were no passengers on the train. Even the driver wasn't there!"
"But you wanted to get out of the forest. And that arrogant cat said a lot of wise words, something about opportunities, efforts, and all that."
"Indeed. So you think that this train was our opportunity?"
"I guess so. And the way we jumped on it, made our way through the thicket, drove at breakneck speed - that was our effort."
"So it turns out that the tree made my wish come true?"
"After all, we got out of the forest."
"Yes, we did."
"Well, the cat didn't promise you anything else."
"Uh... We were hoping to get off at some station. Instead, we ended up here in the middle of this meadow with nothing at all..."
To be continued.
Beginning in previous dreams.
