Prompt

**Chapter 32 – The Door the Cottage Entered Through Part 3 – The Things the World Forgot to Lose** Create a cinematic realistic painterly fantasy storybook illustration, 4:3 landscape format. Use attached reference **CR-01a Mara**. Mara must closely match the reference: same gold-blond hair, facial appearance, green tunic, dark trousers, brown boots and established proportions. Ancient circular memory chamber illuminated by warm golden magical light. Mara stands alone in the left foreground, seen in three-quarter back view, watching an ancient memory. In the centre is a large old round wooden table. Several historical scholars and guardians **STAND behind and around the far side of the table**. They are not seated. Among them is a young wizard in a simple pale robe. There is **ONLY ONE CHAIR IN THE ENTIRE ROOM**. The single chair stands alone at the centre of the far side of the table, directly facing Mara. It is completely empty. Directly in front of this empty chair stands **one old untouched cup**. The empty chair and cup are the unmistakable visual centre of the image. The historical people stand several steps away from the chair. They look toward it with confusion, sadness and uncertainty. One gestures toward the empty chair. Another looks at the untouched cup. Their expressions suggest that they know somebody once occupied this place, but nobody remembers who. No person touches or occupies the chair. The curved chamber walls are covered with hundreds of softly glowing golden memory-like names and markings. Along one section, elegant thin ink-like lines pass across several glowing markings, making portions slowly fade. Create a strong visual path: **Mara → empty chair → untouched cup → confused historical group → fading memories on the wall.** Warm golden illumination, soft cooler shadows, volumetric light from above, floating dust, richly detailed antique wood, cinematic realistic painterly fantasy storybook aesthetic, melancholic mysterious atmosphere. **CRITICAL: ONLY ONE CHAIR EXISTS ANYWHERE IN THE IMAGE. That chair is EMPTY. Do not generate any other chairs, stools, benches or seating furniture. All historical characters are standing. Mara is standing.** No modern objects, no weapons, no frightening imagery, no readable text. Bottom-right corner: small white full-body unicorn watermark with **“AI by Unicorngraphics”**.

The newborn Cottage continued unfolding in the darkness. Corridors stretched from its walls, staircases curled where there was no floor, and windows opened onto impossible skies. Mara watched another door appear. "It copied all of this." "Enough to contain it," the faceless stranger said. Horologia turned sharply. "Contain what?" Forty-four clicked. The vision shifted. Seven figures stood inside the newly formed Cottage, hammering silver marks into the ancient black door. One held the black key. Another carried a wooden chair. Mara recognized it. "The first room." The pale-robed figure placed the chair before the door and sat down. The others began closing doors around him. "They're trapping him inside." "No," the stranger replied. "He's staying." The figure looked directly at Mara. His face became clear. She knew the tired eyes and sad smile she was already struggling to remember. "The wizard." His lips moved. Somehow his voice crossed the years. "Then forget me quickly." Mara stepped toward him. "Wait!" Forty-five clicked. The vision shattered. Wet grass returned beneath her boots. Tiktora checked the sequence reader. "Ten silver." Horologia frowned. "That is wrong." "There were ten before forty-four." Mara stared at the door. "It gave two back." The unfinished letters ITW vanished. New words carved themselves across the wood. YOU REMEMBERED WHAT WAS REMOVED. The stranger backed away. "That is impossible." Biblior raised his lantern. "Impossible has not proved especially reliable here." Footsteps came from behind the door. One pair, then another, until dozens approached through the darkness. The door opened slightly. Shapes gathered in the backward-running corridor. Some were human. Others were not. Their faces had been crossed out with black lines. One wore a coat with every pocket sewn shut. Another carried a lantern whose light illuminated nothing. Behind them walked something with antlers made from words Mara could not remember long enough to read. "What are they?" she whispered. The stranger stared at them. "Things the world no longer remembers losing." Horologia moved in front of Tiktora. "Can they cross?" "They did once." "And you put them back?" "Some." Mara caught the hesitation. "Some?" The stranger looked toward the vision of the growing Cottage. "The First Closure was not made to keep the Cottage in." Memoris understood. "It kept those things out." "No. It kept them somewhere." Mara felt cold. "Inside the Cottage." The stranger nodded. Forty-six clicked. The field disappeared. Mara stood inside a circular room covered with thousands of golden names. Seven people surrounded a wooden table. An eighth chair stood empty. The young wizard was there, and beside him stood the faceless stranger before he had lost his face. A woman placed the black key on the table. "It took another." The wizard stared at the empty chair. "Who?" Nobody answered. "Who was sitting there?" "I don't know," the woman whispered.
