Prompt

A small, cozy cavern with walls of green and orange marble. In a hearth, a small fire emanates a warm glow. An elegant table made of polished granite surrounded by four ornate granite chairs with soft green and orange cushions on them. Sitting in the chairs are four anthropomorphic animals. The first is Agatha, an anthropomorphic German spaniel with uniform glossy reddish-brown fur that shimmers in the light. Agatha wears an elegant dark green dress and carries a brown leather bag on its right side with the strap of the bag draped over the spaniel's left shoulder. The second is Dogula, an anthropomorphic Transylvanian hound. Dogula wears black robes and a black cloak with a high collar and prominently shows his long canines protruding past his lower lip. The third is Craig, an anthropomorphic wizened old mole in a brown cowl fastened with a black cord. The fourth is Flint, an anthropomorphic fox in a brown cowl fastened with a black cord. On the table four crystal glasses filled with red wine and a crystal bowl filled with fresh fruits and berries.

More about A Long Interview

“Do you have any idea where he could have gone?”, Agatha Misty asks, as a member of the kitchen staff brings refreshments for the school's esteemed guests.. “I mean, do you know of any places he has been to where he might seek refuge? Perhaps he mentioned some country he particularly liked.”
“Not to my knowledge,” Craig Marble answers. He looks questioningly at his colleague.
“On the contrary,” Flint Beastwood recalls. “He was constantly complaining of something or other. Otterwia was too cold, Purrsepolis too feminine, Caninia too chaotic, and so on and so on. He missed his own country terribly. He claimed it had the best food in the world but that he couldn't live there as long as an usurper sat on the throne.”
“So even back then he had traveled quite extensively,” Agatha Misty notes.
“It would seem so,” Craig Marble agrees.
“Do you know where he went after he dropped out?” Agatha Misty wants to know.
Craig Marble and Flint Beastwood both shake their heads.
“The last thing he said when we told him he needed to leave was, that this school was unworthy of him anyway and that he would find a school that would recognize his talent.” Craig Marble chuckled. “He was not a particularly good student, his best grades were average.”
