More about Seeking Wisdom in Words and Deeds

Colossians 4:5 says, "Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity."

As Christians, we are called to be ambassadors of Christ in the world. This means that we should always be mindful of how we interact with those who do not share our faith. We need to be wise in our actions and words, showing love and respect to everyone we encounter.

At the same time, we are also called to make the most of every opportunity to share the gospel with others. This means being intentional in our conversations and actions, always looking for ways to point people to Jesus.

But how can we do both of these things at the same time? How can we be wise in our interactions with outsiders while also sharing the gospel with them?

One way is to simply be present and engaged in the world around us. We can show love and kindness to everyone we meet, regardless of their beliefs or background. We can listen to their stories and struggles, and empathize with them in their pain.

At the same time, we can also look for opportunities to share the hope and love of Jesus with them. This might mean asking questions about their beliefs and sharing our own faith journey. It might mean inviting them to church or sharing a relevant Bible verse.

Ultimately, being wise in our interactions with outsiders and making the most of every opportunity to share the gospel requires us to be led by the Holy Spirit. We need to be sensitive to His promptings and open to His leading, trusting that He will guide us in our interactions with others.

So today, let us pray for wisdom and discernment as we interact with those around us. Let us be mindful of the opportunities that God may be placing in our path, and let us be bold in sharing the love of Jesus with those who need it most.
