**The Morks of Mistmoor – Chapter 41: The Road That Nobody Had Made – Part 1: The Traveller Who Had No Destination** Create a cinematic fantasy storybook illustration in 4:3 landscape format, realistic painterly style, exceptionally detailed, with soft volumetric lighting and a magical, mysterious atmosphere. REFERENCE IMAGES — use in this exact order: 1. CR-M1 – Morksik 2. CR-M2 – Borstel 3. CR-M17 – Eldren 4. CR-M16 – Grimmeldorn Preserve the established appearance, clothing, proportions and distinctive features of all four reference characters. SCENE: Show a newly formed, gently glowing SILVER ROAD winding across a beautiful, mysterious landscape at twilight. The road appears to have been created by magic and stretches toward a distant valley filled with warm golden lights. At the far end of the valley lies the ancient village of Harrowmere, with charming timber-framed houses, a tall bell tower, a stone bridge crossing a narrow river and peaceful gardens. The village is surrounded by rolling green hills and a few enormous ancient trees. In the foreground, Morksik stands on the silver road, looking toward the distant village with curiosity and determination. Beside him stands Borstel, carrying his familiar travelling equipment, looking suspiciously at the magical road. Eldren stands slightly behind them, holding his old map, which displays delicate glowing silver lines. Grimmeldorn stands nearby, observing the valley with his usual serious expression. A NEW CHARACTER, the First Traveller, stands slightly ahead of the group. He is a mysterious adult traveller wearing a weathered dark cloak and carrying a simple travelling bag. His face is now visible, with an expression of astonishment and longing as he looks toward a place he almost remembers. The First Traveller must look clearly different from Eldren and all the established Morks characters. Near the travellers stands an ancient stone milestone beside the silver road, bearing a faintly glowing magical symbol. COMPOSITION: Wide cinematic landscape, with the travellers in the foreground and the beautiful valley of Harrowmere stretching into the distance. The silver road should form a clear visual path connecting the characters to the mysterious village. Exactly FIVE characters: Morksik, Borstel, Eldren, Grimmeldorn and the First Traveller. No additional people or duplicates. Rich atmospheric perspective, silver-blue twilight, warm golden village lights, detailed stone textures, beautiful fantasy scenery and a strong feeling of discovery. No chapter titles, captions, speech bubbles or readable writing anywhere in the scene. Add a small white unicorn emblem and the words "AI by Unicorngraphics" discreetly in the bottom-right corner.

Chapter 41 The Road That Nobody Had Made Part 1 The Traveller Who Had No Destination
The new silver line on Eldren’s map remained perfectly still. Every road they had encountered since leaving Mistmoor had moved, vanished or attempted something considerably less polite. This one simply waited. “I distrust it,” Borstel announced. “You distrust everything,” Hopsy replied. “And look how often I have been correct.” Morksik stood beside the pedestal, holding the Return Bell. The silver thread above it had stopped ringing. Outside, the eighth circle glowed beneath a starless sky. Without his black mask, the First Traveller looked less like a guardian of forgotten roads and more like someone who needed a comfortable chair. “Where does it begin?” he asked. Eldren pointed toward the entrance. “There.” “And where does it end?” “Mistmoor.” The Traveller shook his head. “That is where it points. Not necessarily where it ends.” Archivara opened her book. NEW ROUTE — ORIGIN: CHOICE. DESTINATION — UNCONFIRMED. Hopsy frowned. “But the map says Mistmoor.” DESTINATION — REQUESTED: MISTMOOR. DESTINATION — ACCEPTED: UNKNOWN. “Wonderful,” Borstel muttered. “Even the road is considering other arrangements.” Sereth approached. Behind her, the seven Senders watched the restored circle. “You should not follow it,” she warned. “You said that about opening the building,” Morksik replied. “The Last Road connected places that already existed. This route has no foundation. It was created by a decision.” “Is that dangerous?” Hopsy asked. “I do not know.” Grimmeldorn grunted. “Better answer.” Eldren rolled up his map. “We cannot stay forever. The Carrier is waiting in Mistmoor.” “Then we walk,” Morksik decided. Borstel sighed. “I was afraid somebody would say something sensible.” They crossed the empty square. At the eighth circle, pale stones extended into darkness, with silver mist drifting beneath them. There were no walls, railings or visible landscape. Hopsy raised her lantern. Its flame turned blue. “That usually means something.” “Trouble,” Borstel suggested. “Sometimes magic.” “I have yet to appreciate the distinction.” The First Traveller stopped at the first stone. “There is something you should know. I remember every road the Carrier knew. But I have never seen this one.” “Neither have we,” Morksik said. “That is not what concerns me.” The Traveller looked down. “I cannot remember where I intended to go before they sent me away.” Hopsy lowered her lantern. “Your home?” “I remember a window overlooking a garden, a table beside a fireplace and a lantern someone left burning when I travelled late.” “Who?” Morksik asked. “I cannot remember.” Archivara wrote: FIRST TRAVELLER — ORIGINAL DESTINATION: MISSING. MEMORY STATUS — NOT ERASED. Eldren frowned. “Not erased?” MEMORY — NEVER RECORDED. Borstel stared. “How does someone forget a memory that was never recorded?” “Perhaps the journey began before the record,” Eldren suggested. The Traveller looked toward the darkness. “Perhaps this road can take me there.” Morksik stepped onto the first stone. Nothing happened. “Encouraging,” Borstel said. Another step illuminated the path ahead. “It seems safe,” Morksik called. Borstel examined the darkness below. “An extremely generous interpretation.” Nevertheless, he followed, with Hopsy, Eldren, Grimmeldorn, Archivara and the Traveller close behind. When the last traveller stepped onto the road, the eighth circle disappeared. Hopsy turned. “Where did it go?” Only darkness remained behind them. “Perhaps the road closes behind us,” Eldren said. “I would have preferred that information earlier,” Borstel replied. Archivara opened her book. RETURN ROUTE — AVAILABLE. ORIGIN — UNDEFINED. “Not reassuring,” Morksik said. “But interesting,” the Traveller answered. They continued. A broken fence emerged from the mist, followed by an apple tree with silver leaves. Farther ahead, a milestone displayed a number that changed whenever Borstel looked away. “Forty-three,” he announced. “Forty-seven,” Hopsy corrected. “Forty-nine,” Eldren said. Borstel folded his arms. “I refuse to walk on a road that cannot count.” Morksik approached the stone. Its inscription changed to WHERE WOULD YOU HAVE GONE? “Rather personal,” Hopsy whispered. The Traveller touched it. A wooden house with a garden gate appeared briefly, warm light shining through its windows. Then it dissolved into mist. The Traveller staggered. Morksik caught his arm. “Your home?” “Perhaps. I remember the garden, but the house was different.” Archivara wrote: MEMORY RESPONSE — PARTIAL. ROAD — REQUESTING DESTINATION. Eldren studied the milestone. “It wants to know where we would go.” “Mistmoor,” Borstel said immediately. The number returned. FORTY-NINE. “It dislikes direct answers,” Hopsy observed. Grimmeldorn stepped forward. “Home.” The number became ONE. “Finally!” Borstel cried. “Someone who understands travelling.” The milestone cracked, and the road divided.
