Actually this began as a disputation between Theseus, the boat builder and founder of Athens, and Hyperion, the leader of the Titans, a conflict that becomes the center of the remarkable and beautiful movie Immortals, by Tarsem Singh. Note that neither figure had a halo in the movie. I don't know where they came from. Note also that both men have acquired an extra finger or two. Who knows why?
