Our recognizable ginger-haired young art student is still exploring the city, now standing across from the iconic Moulin Rouge on a lively Parisian evening. She has stopped on the pavement with her sketchbook resting against one arm, completely absorbed in the scene before her. The famous red windmill rises above the illuminated façade, glowing against a deepening indigo evening sky. Warm red lights spill onto the wet pavement, mixing with amber shop lights, passing headlights and reflections from the surrounding street. Her familiar short-haired red dachshund, slightly darker than her ginger hair, sits quietly beside her feet, patiently watching the people and traffic move around them. She is drawing.
