As Christians living in a busy city, it can be easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily life. We may feel like we are constantly being pulled in different directions, whether it's by work, family obligations, or social activities. In the midst of all this busyness, it can be challenging to remember to keep Jesus at the center of our lives.
But as followers of Christ, it is essential that we make Him the center of our lives, no matter where we are or what we are doing. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." This means that when we prioritize our relationship with Christ above all else, He will provide for our needs and guide us in the right direction.
One way to help us focus more on making Jesus the center of our lives is to intentionally set aside time each day for prayer, Bible study, and reflection. This can be challenging when we have so many other responsibilities vying for our attention, but it is crucial if we want to grow in our faith and stay connected to the Lord. By prioritizing our relationship with Christ above all else, we will find that He provides for our needs and guides us in the right direction.
