In Proverbs 15:17, we read, "Better a meal of vegetables where there is love than a fattened calf with hatred." This verse reminds us that the presence of love and relationships is more important than any material possessions or luxuries.

When we gather together for breakfast with our family, we have the opportunity to nurture those relationships and show love to one another. We can share stories, laugh, and enjoy each other's company. And as we eat together, we are reminded of our dependence on God for our daily sustenance.

But too often, we take these blessings for granted. We rush through meals or skip them altogether, thinking that we don't have time or that they're not important. We prioritize other things, like work or social media, over spending time with those closest to us.

As we sit down to eat breakfast with our family, let us remember the blessings that we have been given. Let us value these moments and cherish the time that we have with one another. And let us thank God for the relationships and love that he has placed in our lives. May we never take these blessings for granted, but always remember their value and importance in our lives.
