Si vis pacem para bellum! Why? Because for me, peace without freedom is worthless. Peace must be the ultimate goal, no question about it, no one longs for war or cheers for war. But you also have to be able to defend peace and freedom - it therefore makes a difference whether you wage a war of aggression or defense, so the goal is important. Humans are not ideal beings, which is why they are capable of evil things due to free will. War is and remains terrible, it results in the death and suffering of many innocent people, but unfortunately sometimes it cannot be avoided. You must firmly oppose tyrants, despots and dictators and not show weakness towards them, otherwise they will turn against you.
