Lord Falacar is free. But the harm his son has caused him is a wound that will not heal in a hurry. He is weak from being locked in a cell away from the sunlight with nothing but prison rations for sustenance. He now knows that his son will stop at nothing to seize power and that few are less able to handle power responsibly than he is. His son must be stopped. His best hope now is to ensure his son is apprehended peacefully, so that he will not be harmed. For as much as he has suffered, he still loves Lord Laverno.
