When we spend time reading the Bible, we learn more about who God is and what He desires for our lives. It's not just about gaining knowledge, but also about getting to know God on a personal level. We can learn how to live our lives according to His will and purpose.
But going deep in our relationship with Jesus requires more than just reading the Bible. It also requires spending time in prayer and worship, seeking His presence, and surrendering ourselves to Him. We need to open our hearts to Him and allow Him to transform us from the inside out.
In John 15:5, Jesus says, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." This verse reminds us that we need to stay connected to Jesus in order to bear fruit in our lives. We can't do it on our own.
So let's make a commitment to spend time reading the Bible and going deep in our relationship with Jesus. Let's seek His face and allow Him to transform us into the people He created us to be. Let's stay connected to the vine and bear fruit that will glorify Him.
