Realist painting in a style of Edward Hopper of a modern house in a style of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture. Realist painting in the style of american painter Edward Hopper.
A long, horizontal oil painting depicts a modern, multi-story house perched on and partially over a body of water. The house, rendered in shades of cream and light beige with dark-framed windows, features several cantilevered sections and flat roofs. One section of the house extends over the water, supported by columns, and reflects clearly in the calm, shimmering surface, which also reflects the cloudy sky and distant greenery.
To the left of the main house structure, a long, flat, light-colored bridge-like walkway or platform stretches over the water, connecting to the land. This platform is supported by several square columns submerged in the water. The architecture appears contemporary, possibly inspired by mid-century modern or Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, with its integration into the natural surroundings.
The background is filled with lush, abundant foliage. A variety of trees, including tall palm trees and other decidous trees, rise from gently rolling hills. The vegetation creates a sense of seclusion and natural beauty around the sophisticated dwelling. On the right side of the painting, closer to the foreground, there are bushes with red flowers, adding a splash of color to the verdant landscape.
