More about underwater love (1)

A richly textured, close-up, top-down chalk pastel art painting (oil pastel on paper) depicting a vibrant jellyfish, reminiscent of artwork by Vincent van Gogh or Claude Monet. The jellyfish is rendered with exceptional detail, featuring a bell-shaped body in a kaleidoscope of white, off-white, cream, pink, and light blue hues, with a mottled texture. Its frilly, ruffled oral arms, a mix of bright pink, cream, light blue, white, and off-white, are prominently displayed, creating a sense of organic movement. Some parts of the oral arms appear as cauliflower-like clusters, adding to the intricate texture. The bell and oral arms are outlined with a dark, contrasting line that adds depth and definition.

Subtle cracks and imperfections are visible across the surface of the art, contributing to an aged, distressed aesthetic as if part of an ancient fresco. The background is a stark, rich, deep blue, with lighter blue and white wave-like patterns emanating from beneath the jellyfish's bell, suggesting movement within water. These wave patterns are composed of short, thick, off-white and light blue lines, varying in thickness and direction, with a few lighter yellow and orange areas occasionally appearing between them
