** Awakening the Taboo **

In her protected world
Of innocent flowers and bees,
A pulse begins to stir.

She gazes at herself,
Reflected in the glass,
And smiles at what she sees.

A tingling inside,
New and unfamiliar,
Something never felt before.

The library, vast and deep,
Holding secrets wrapped in taboo,
Reveals a truth she can’t ignore.

Once the door is opened,
It will not close again—
A woman awakened.
