A middle aged homeless man addicted to Fentanyl and Heroin and Methamphetamine photographed in a monochrome Weegee-inspired composition : weathered face, deep-set eyes, disheveled appearance, raw emotion, stark contrast, gritty urban backdrop, shadows and light play, captivating character, vintage feel, candid expression, dramatic angles, haunting presence, intense gaze, black and white, raw authenticity.
n.b. This time around, I decided that I would forego writing backstories for the images in this series. At this point in the series' creation, I didn't want to nail down who each person was and their relationships with each other, because I didn't want to limit them and, by extension, I didn't want to limit their stories.
I'm also big enough to admit that right now I just don't have a clear idea of these characters' stories, and it's very hard to write such stories when you try to force them out of your brain.
However, in the future, I do plan to write backstories for each character by using these images as writing prompts.
Eventually, the entire narrative will appear on my Facebook Page "A.J. Jones artwork" at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61567198841006 .
