While we were gone, the friendly stalker continued to look out for Alice. Among other things, she showed her how to hunt for lesser mutants like tushkanos, blind dogs, fleshs and smaller boars. "It's by far the most reliable way to sustain yourself in the Zone", she said. "Sure, you might find some canned food in the ruins here and there. Also someone seems to keep baking bread around here somewhere, although nobody seems to know exactly who or where... anyway, if you don't happen to find yourself at one of those few places that are populated by more or less sane human beings, you can rely only on your hunting skills to keep yourself fed.
