ArtistA massive library filled with large volumes bound in black leather. Black leather armchairs with blood-red pentagrams patterns surround an elegant glass-topped table. In the back, a single bookcase stands forward and reveals a secret stone passageway behind it. Notos, an anthropomorphic white-backed vulture in shabby black robes. Notos stands in the passage and peaks out from behind the bookcase.
After following the tunnel for quite a while, Notos and his companions reach the library of the School of Death. This library contains many books that are banned or restricted in most countries because of the dangerous spells they contain. Notos remembers reading one of the books when he came across a spell which can be used to control people by enchanting the food they eat. That was when he realized he was being used. Notos knows that the knowledge in these books is dangerous, but he has learned first-hand that not-knowing can be even more dangerous. Therefore, he thinks the books and the knowledge they carry should be preserved and put into the hands of trustworthy stewards. His hopes are that they can stop the Archmage and his acolytes without destroying the school or its contents.
Notos peaks through the opening of the tunnel and sees that the library is empty. He motions to his companions to follow.
