ArtistA forest made up of spruce and fir trees. A clearing with a few fallen trees. A shoe maker's stall with shoes for sale. An anthropomorphic Monochamus sutor beetle wearing traditional shoe maker's garb and apron sits on the ground and holds a piece of leather which he cuts with scissors.
The beetle Monochamus sutor has no English name, at least as far as Wikipedia knows. In German the beetle is called 'Schusterbock' which translates to 'shoe maker longhorn beetle'. Would you buy shoes from him?
