ArtistA dense pine forest in the early morning hours. On a small clearing a wooden stall offering baked goods for sale. Next to the stall a large dome-shaped, old-fashioned brick oven in which loaves of bread are being baked. An anthropomorphic pine sawyer beetle in traditional baker's garb and apron, stand beside the stall.
The German name of the pine sawyer beetle is 'Bäckerbock'. The word comes from 'Bäcker' = 'baker' and 'Bock' which is short for 'Bockkäfer' = 'longhorn beetle'. This one is doing its name justice.
