(struggles on the fringe - an attempt to workaround)

So after a long, fruitless battle producing tons of weirdness, I decided that maybe I was going about this wrong. I downloaded an image, used my trusty old photo editing software that doesn't have a mind of it's own, and produced this image.

My intent was to then ask the system to give me a description to use to evolve and generate new images from my crude mockup. I'd used a variant of that trick to sort out the crescent moon pendant by searching around on the web and finding somebody selling something about like what I wanted and asking the AI to tell me how to describe it.

Anyhow, here's my crude mock I thought was gonna solve all my problems. Little did I know that the AI model's creativity seems to be mostly directed toward (riffing on Arthur Dent) figuring out how to give me something that is maddeningly like what I thought I was asking for but unlike it in every important respect. <shrug emoji>
