(struggles with the fringe)

So, I tinkered with this for hours, not going to include all the fascinatingly weird things which happened as I tried to make this happen, just a few of the lowlights. Not sure what I did wrong on this try, I thought having the previous image with the nice copper belt of links would make it easy to tell the AI to hang a much smaller chain off each link. That didn't work out so well.

First, every time I tried to add that fringe of little chains, I'd get unexpected results like this one where the belt jumped up in size, and didn't have a chain hanging off periodically anyway. Never did figure out how to get it right.
