Life can be like a raging river at times, tossing us about and making us feel uncomfortable and uncertain about the future. We may feel like we're struggling, and that our circumstances are out of our control. It's easy to feel overwhelmed and alone in the midst of the tumultuous waters.

But as followers of Jesus, we can have peace, joy, and hope in knowing that our faithful God is always beside us, watching over us. He never sleeps or slumbers, and His eyes are always on us. Even when we can't see a way out of our troubles, God is already at work, making a way for us.

In Psalm 23, David writes, "Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." David knew that even in the darkest and most difficult times, God was with him. He found comfort and strength in the knowledge that God was watching over him and guiding him through the valley.

As followers of Jesus, we too can find comfort and strength in staying close to God. We can reach out to Him in prayer, seeking His guidance and wisdom. We can stay connected to Him through reading His word and spending time in worship and fellowship with other believers.

When we stay close to God and trust in His love and faithfulness, we can have peace and joy even in the midst of the raging river. We can have hope that God is working all things together for our good and that He will guide us through the troubled waters.

So if you find yourself struggling in the midst of the raging river, remember that you are not alone. Stay close to God, reach out to Him in prayer, and trust in His love and faithfulness. He will be there beside you, watching over you, and guiding you through the troubled waters.
