They walked through a field of flowers and saw a bench. The bench was on the slope of a wide meadow covered with beautiful flowers.
"What? Instead of a station, there's just a bench on a slope?" Arthur was very surprised.
They sat down on it and stared into the distance in silence for a few minutes. They needed time to comprehend it all. All the events that had happened to them recently did not fit in their heads.
An incredible landscape opened up before them. Colorful flowers covered the alpine meadow. Dense emerald and golden forests enveloped the mountain slopes. In the valley, a river meandered through the picturesque fields and disappeared over the horizon. Eagles circled gracefully in the sky. Swallows soared above the ground. The sun illuminated this fabulous landscape with golden rays. And in the distance, on a hill, stood a majestic castle.
"Look how incredibly beautiful it is, Teddy Bear. I have no idea where we are, but it's amazing."
"Yeah. It's like we're in some kind of fairy tale kingdom."
"It seems like kingdoms are just formalities nowadays?"
"I don't know what kind of formalities you mean, but I tell you what I see with my glass eyes. And I see a majestic and beautiful castle. And if there is a castle, then there must be a king. Or a queen. Or even a king and a queen. And if so, what kind of royal family is it without a kingdom?"
"How do you know all of this so well, Teddy Bear? Did you go to school?"
"No, I didn't go to school. But your mother used to read a lot of fairy tales that I used to listen to with you. And in those fairy tales, it's always like I said."
"You're probably right," Arthur replied. "But you see, it seems to me that the Magic Tree has fulfilled a completely different wish of mine."
"What wish is that?" asked Teddy Bear, excited.
" Remember when I was reading you a story at home? I said that I would like to have interesting adventures one day."
"No way!" replied Teddy Bear, his eyes filled with horror. They both suddenly realized that it was Arthur's great desire for adventure that had drawn them into this incredible story.
It was already evening. The sun was sinking low over the horizon. Its rays painted everything in shades of gold and pink.
"Oh, Teddy Bear. I see that we will not get home soon. So let's go. I don't want to spend the night on a bench in the middle of the field like this."
The little travelers set off. Little did they know that the story was just beginning. A long journey with many incredible adventures awaits them ahead.
